I know I have less to say these days, and I'm not sure if it's because I don't have much to say about what's happening (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) or because I don't have much to say about grief. I'm not sure it's either, frankly, but some kind of realignment of mindspace and priorities and wordsmithery.

I have a post up on Glow In The Woods about being online -- and why I'm still here, though not as frequently as I once was. Hopefully it makes a bit of sense.

Hi Tash. Over the last two days I've read every one of your posts, pretty much to the exclusion of everything else that wasn't utterly necessary. I feel like I've been on a long roadtrip with you, and now it's like you're pausing to read all the sign-posts and check the map.
Thankyou for the courage to speak so honestly and openly about all that you've been through. I know how much guts that must have taken at times.

It's okay... We write when we can and when we need to... And that is just fine.

Yes. You said it exactly as I feel it -- some days it's consuming and others it lazily wafts over me, almost comforting with perspective.
